System Engineer in the automotive industry

We are seeking a talented and motivated System Engineer to join us as a consultant in the automotive industry.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Define and develop system architecture and technical solutions for automotive embedded systems.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, hardware engineers, and test engineers, to ensure seamless integration of components.
- Develop and maintain system requirements, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Support system validation, verification, and troubleshooting in MIL, SIL, and HIL environments.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE, and AUTOSAR.
- Participate in technical discussions with customers and stakeholders to align project objectives and deliverables.
- Analyze and mitigate potential risks in system design and implementation.
- Continuously improve system engineering processes and methodologies.
We hope you have some of the following:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in system engineering within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems, automotive networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay), and vehicle communication protocols.
- Experience with tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, dSPACE, Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, and IBM Rational Rhapsody.
- Familiarity with model-based design (MBD) methodologies and software development lifecycle processes.
- Knowledge of functional safety and cybersecurity concepts in automotive applications.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
